Como is the primary and commercial center for Lake Como, where history goes hand in hand with modernity. Even though the area of Lake Como is urbanized, it is a beautiful place to enjoy the unique nature of northern Italy. Como is very picturesque, cosy and sophisticated city. Here the narrow streets lined with colourful buildings and interesting architecture, reflecting the long history of the city. Como boasts unrepeated green landscapes and, of course, the romantic scenery of its famous lake that is loved and praised by many poets and writers.
